So here is this awesome spaceship. Its a kilometre long. Its probably a million tons, and it propels itself to near light speed using the sound of the big bang...all Bessel functiony like a big resonating bell capturing the sound of the big bang.
Its traveling at a hundred metres per second when bang! It dissapears toward the horizon in a single second accelerating to a hundred thousand metres per second. The very colour of the sky changes as a maelstrom of wind chases after the ship. The gravity of the ship is now 1,000,000,000kg x 999,900m/s^2 or 999,900,000,000,000 kgm/s^2. The atmosphere of earth and maybe the water and earth are sucked from the planet we call home in a great pillar that extends out into space past the moon.
