Google Archaeology: An ancient city in the Mountains

 

This partially buried 2km×1km platform is in the Mountainous region of Venezuela near Cerro la Raya.

Location: 5°28'09.9"N,  66°21'10.5"W.

It looks like it was dominated by a big Pyramid.

The platform itself is about a hundred metres high.
