At this point we can pretty much overlay the little petty kingdoms on this island's geography. Mounains straddling a border region, forests occupying a single kingdom. Swamp? Dominating most of another. Some hills.

The show you a province in one kingdom and that tiny black dot thats the estate of the protagonist.

And then they change its location...

And instantly screw the setting with a continuity error.
