Its populated by a diverse selection of humanoid species including some similar to humans.

Gilde - Javos Union: A trade alliance consisting of ten minor star systems and two major star systems.

Hebr Empire: This militocracy was previously a Republic, but the military overthrew the elected government and severed the shorter  hyperspace route between Javos and Hebr renegotiating a far longer trade route through the Fringes of the Nebula.
