This shortsword is contained in a red painted scabbard with a lead lining and red tanned leather belt fixture. The Shortsword itself has a red leather bound hand hold.
DM Note: Prolonged exposure to the cinabryl red dye used to paint and dye the leather, hand grip, and scabbard is toxic causing wounds to not heal when magical healing is used.
This Bronze Shortsword has a hand grip bound in black dyed silk. The blade itself burns an odd flame that is cold or hot depending on the individual holding the weapon.
DM Note: the dungeon master should decide for the player. The blade will slay an efreet on a natural 20, and the wielder of the weapon will be slain on a critical miss.
