This red fungi grows in carbon rich wet black soils appearing as a cluster of red stalks. If eaten it causes the victim's brain to shrink reducing their intelligence by one point per failed saving throw vs poison. The victim must make a save vs poison for every individual point of intelligence. A fail means that point is permanantly lost. Only a wish can recover lost points of intelligence.
