Google Archaeology: beyond the gates of Heraklion

The original Atlantis reference included numerous geographic location descriptions. "Beyond the Pillars of Heacles". And apparently "Beyond the Straits". So not only a port city on the Island of Hormuz near the Straits of Hormuz, but it could be the culmination of several lost cities.

That it could be beyond the Gates of Heraklion. This is a Port on northern Crete and just beyond (north) is the island of Dia. There are seafloor ruins off its southern coast. You can see them here:

Location: 35.431077, 25.233633

A square structure surrounded by concentric circles (throne?), some wall foundations. I certainly can't find any archaeological study on them.

This distant structure seemed to have subsided into the sea and likely triggered a tidal wave with the collapse of its 4km wide, 14km long shelf. Any civilization on it would be lost, unleashing a great destruction.
