Conclusion: insufficient data to identify a particular linguistic group as the source, but the population before the Bandgap are S linguistic group, 83% coming in after the fall of the Roman Republic. Why didnt they shift in linguistic group like the rest of the Italian population? Because Early Christianity considered those with Dwarvism to be evil, agents of Satan, degenerate, diseased and everything else that results in a population culturally isolated from the rest of civilization. As a result, they represent the end of the Roman period more than the current Italian population.
