Conclusion: Mary Ann Nicols is the dominant cultural representative in the group. She was also the first victim. If there is something about them that is a shared genetic trait from the male side of their family, she has a higher genetic representation of that trait.

Distantly related to Nichelle Nicols who less than a century later played Uhura on Star Trek. Lets not assume a time traveller just yet.
