Shiroi Karasu: A Poem for the hopeful

A King in yellow rainment
dreaming deluded dreams.
The dreams of the suffering
wasted on his gilded crown.
All the while the gory hymn
summons listeners to its fold.
Listen to my cruel harmony
an opera of the wanton end.
