QuantumViral Communications and Alien Signal Detection

Imagine using quantum teleportation to continuously and randomly alter a virus infecting humans to which they have developed immunity so that immunity is no longer possible. You could use that to communicate with them. You could also use it to impose your beliefs on them which why we need to eliminate religion and politics in favour of equality.

It could mean viruses in your eyes could interact and communicate with your brain, but also might trigger dreams and be used to communicate information, and destroy, torture and enslave.

So if you want to look for signals from aliens, how about the signals sent by viruses to the brain via eyes?

And if you were wondering what a fermiparadox extinction source looks like... it looks like overloading the signals to your brain via virus until your brain cells are burned out, and you can't dream, and have no sight.

I bring this up because I just had a dream where someone was showing me pairs of letters on a map of earth. I assume they refered to locations human genetic remains have been found, or cultures have been identified.

Mystaran Campaign: Jussipo the Novitiate

Jussipo the Novitiate

Fighter (Bard); level 1; 6hp; Neutral (Good); Str (11), Int (15), Wis (11), Dex (11), Con (12), Cha (16);

Skills:
Singing
Instrument (lute)
Riding (horse)
Reading/Writing (common)
Mathematics

Equipment: Sword, fine clothes, boots, sword, belt, lute, knife, belt pouch, horse, saddle.

A Novice Knight, though most definatly a Gay Bard in all the ways that one might understand the meaning of the term. He knows several songs, most of which seem to be about himself. He loves three things: the first is his lute. The second himself. And the third whomever he finds himself attracted to at the time- though they must be pretty.

Keep Calm: we may have a problem

Over the last two years I have had coronavirus symptoms no less that ten times without socializing, and doing all the things the objectors to lockdowns in the ongoing pandemic bemoaned the loss of.

I caught it because it is airborne across property boundaries and suburbs (particularly so if you are living downwind from the sewage treatment plant by a few kilometres).

I have recently noticed degradation of both physical endurance (due to reduced lung capacity) and eyesight (Something only possible if I have been repeatedly infected by virus throught the eyes and white blood cells are struggling to eliminate the virus). It raises the prospect that we cannot possibly 'live with the virus' as politicians and journalists suggest.

Prolonged and repeated exposure to the virus is likely going to cause permanent blindness. Something that will devastate future generations.

The Death Penalty for those spreading the virus and those refusing vaccination is now the most likely response to such a situation. While Governments are guilty of conspiracy to gross criminal negligence they will never be prosecuted for their lack of good government, but so are you by spreading the virus.

Get vaccinated. It isn't a cure for stupidity. That requires a commitment to mandatory public education.

Mystaran Campaign: the night the moon came

Background
It spread from a Giant bat from the jungles of the Thyatian Hinterlands sold to a merchant in Ochalea and from there, beyond...
An incurable plague has swept the Known World wiping out millions of people. The world became isolated, and mistrustful. Ochaleans were blamed for deaths that came from the movement of the Merchants, Refugees, and Adventurers of a hundred other nations. Ships crowded with fleeing refugees became ships filled with corpses, and those who made it to safety were killed for escaping their fate.

The people of Ochalea died in isolation.

Tsu Zhang, an Astronomer from the Island of Ochalea, could only watch from distant Ylaruam as his people perished while Ylaruam survived simply because most of the infected perished in the heat of a desert crossing. While the plague didnt reach Ylaruam, blame for the plague directed at Ochaleans did reach the city of Ylaruam. Until even Tsu Zhang was greeted openly with hostility in the streets and market places.

His heart broken, something dark began to fester there. A hatred for those Ylari around him. They should share his pain. So he sets about a plan. This night he will use his Artefact of the immortals- the Mirror-lens of Zhang-Chi to bring destruction from his Astronomer's tower down on the people of this decadent city of silk and perfume.

It is the end of Kladmont, the last day in the last month of the year AC1021. And for PCs in Ylaruam, it is the night the Moon becomes abnormally bright, and reaches down into the slumbering city with its tentacles.

Basic Expert: The Thief as an isekai protagonist

I consider the B/X Thief the ideal Isekai protagonist with a Skill framework into which 'other' skills might be inserted to replace unappealing thief skills.
Crack open a manga comic and jot down OP character skills like 'absorb' (a monster skill which gives your pc the capacity to pick up those special skills mentioned in the preamble to the monsters section in b/x). Imagine your thief absorbing dragon breath (breath damage equal to hp 3×day) having consumed its flesh and saved vs poison.

The price is you start with one skill (Absorb) which we put in slot 7.

Conclusion: originating in a U linguistic Group? That would make them related to Oltecs? More likely this is O linguistic group. It would mean they are related to the Shogi board game. Possibly a source of the chariot and heroes early form of the game.

They begin with the discovery of Water at 63%.
38% seems dominated by the presence of the S linguistic Group (paired with I) with differentiation between those who belong and those who exit (assembled from the words Water and vertical). The exit is related to vertical water (waterfall, tidal wave, rain, a Well (to draw water), to urinate/pour downward?). S linguistic group is the early sumerian culture introducing the horse.
29% property rights.
28% Sudden growth with the City of UR established along with the early appearance of (heavenly metal) meteorite iron? Light (not from the L linguistic group) appears. First Kings of the early Sumerians.
26% observation of astronomical bodies. Perfumes and singing in use.
22% A legal system with summons and charge of murder. Also God and Goddesses appear because Religion is vital in dragging down civilization.
20% Ziggurat building. Melammu (bright, awe inspiring luminosity) contains LA of the LAI branch of the L linguistic group suggesting contact with the inventors of Sail and Light.
18% Beer, Concubines, and Chocolate? Maybe they do have contact with South America and some relationship with the Olmec.
13% Chariots for the first time and conflict here as well. Mound-building replacing Ziggurats?
At 12% we have the cultural peak. currency including gold. Chariots. Horse riding, swords.
At 8% we have Currency including silver. Sippar (bird city) and Assembly put in an appearance suggesting Sippar had a parliamentary government- Bird City definatly a derogatory term for the gathered chatterings of a 'parliamentary government'. I'm sure it will be short lived.
At 3% possible Opium Tar or Cannabis Resin use. GI QANU (Reed [Cannabis? Or Opium Tar=Earth Guano?]) White sap turns black... so probably an indicator of narcotics use.
At 2% we have Zeru (probably [Zero: Origin; Seed]). This is also the time metals are most in play. Bronze and Iron are here along with military conflict.
1% Judges, and slavery.
<1% Christianity?
